They need to stop making so many pokemon, this is ridiculous. How about, now I might sound crazy, they stop trying so hard on designs (which are unoriginal now. For gods sake they merged monkey and broccoli together for Yannappu) And try to make better games for previous generations. Or, new themes, something new and not just the same-old, same-old.
Every generation has it's oddities and unappealing designs, but hey, not all pokemon are created to be attractive and edgy! Just like not all animals in real life are attractive and such.

I'm just extremely irritated with the company.
I've sorta been hoping for some new stadium/colosseum/xd sorta games though. It would be a refreshing break from the main series (i'm pretty tired of all the mystery dungeon/ranger spinoffs).
As for the trading card game, I too have a little binder full of old(ish) pokemon cards that i used to obsessively collect. The prices for booster packs have gone up to nearly $5 a pack, so I haven't really had the time or money to purchase many new ones myself, though i really wish I could. I do also wish they'd give more cards per pack for the ridiculous price.
Another thing that would be nice, is maybe take some time off the games and focus on a better anime series? (excluding ash; ugh) I dunno!
I've been hoping for a sort of online/single player rpg. You as a Pokemon, living in the wild and avoiding getting caught by humans. Not the mystery dungeon or ranger junk. I always felt that Pokemon XD and colosseum were a bit too limited, in my opinion. After you won the game there wasn't a lot else to do.
And I agree with you on that one. They should include more Pokemon cards in the packet. There are so many Pokemon now... I don't know anyone who has every single species in their collection. I stopped collecting after Gen 3, and I really do wish I could collect again. I just don't have that kind of money.
Another thing I agree with you on. Except for the Ash, part. Although I do wish that Ash would stop being so ridiculous and the "chosen one" for every single Legendary. THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE LEGENDARY. Like, no one has ever seen them before, really. Except Ash. Although I do think they should still show the legendaries, just to a different person. Make a different spin-off episode with an alternative character who sees them. Mini-stories of the citizens in Pokemon would be nicer. And I'm also annoyed that they change only the girl characters each new generation. I was always a Misty and May girl. I loved them to death, and then there's Dawn... And this new character... I just can't anymore. I feel as if May and Misty had the most personality.
