Not my best video. Rushed to get it done before piv got home for work which resulted in a bit of a disaster : | Half of the video messed up (hence the rushed ending ;; ) and just blehhhhh

Lovely image, excellent line work, nice color, and great emotion. I really like the design of the characters as well.

The only thing that mars this otherwise perfect image would be the background. It feels a bit rushed and out of place. The windows on the buildings look way too big and the fireworks aren't as vibrant as they should be (at first glance I thought they were paint splatters on a wall). A little more time spent on the background probably would have solve all of those issues (I'm a little hypocritical saying that because I absolutely loath doing backgrounds ;p).

Just make a new layer over all the others, and paste the texture of your choice there! Afterwards, just set the layer to "soft light" and fiddle with the opacity.

Wow, this has a stunning overall effect. I like the foreground/background contrast in the lighting, the fireworks are wonderful, and the expressions are so personal and well done in your style.
