Sure! What it's usually like is you design a batch of adoptables, like these for example, but instead of selling them for points you have a little contest to decide the new owners. People can draw the adopt and write about it for their entries. A lot of times people make multiple entries if they really want the character. In the end, the designer decides who would be the best owner based on the entries and the winner gets to keep the adopt. The way I'm explaining it is kind of confusing so here's some examples of contest adopts. Here's the adopts [link] I actually can't find the journal announcing the winners but that part's just like a normal contest, but instead of getting your typical prizes they get their character. These don't normally last as long as a normal contest though, usually a week at most.
oh! Audition adopts! (Different terms but the same thing i suppose xD)
I dunno really, but i'll think about it! My problem with these kind of adoptables is that I'll have a really hard time choosing a winner qvq i mean, once you draw a character, give it a name, a personality, etc, you sorta get attatched to it...then for you to lose and have the character given to someone else?? IDK MAN I JUST...feel for those people who don't win the character QvQ
ILL SELL U MY BODY

All the ones I love are taken. Ah well. I'm broke anyways. ;w;
Do you think there's a chance you would ever make contest adopts?
